Mommy Bloggers Love Johnny Rockets!

Mommy Bloggers Philippines (MBP) is one of my favorite blogging networks. I've been to numerous blogging events where I got to meet new people and tried out new products through MBP. It is through this group that I get to have regular blog comments, too! You see, you royalties are a bit shy. I don't know how I can let out that chikadora living inside your royal bodies. So I'm glad my fellow bloggy mommies are here to make me feel I'm not alone! Haha! Anyway, one of the fun events MBP has been invited to was Johnny Rockets'  Bloggers' Day. We were treated with their super filling Original Hamburger and their latest offering: the super cool Summer Shakes!

The event was held at their Eastwood branch, where R, Sophia and I had first tried Johnny Rockets. We were welcomed by the dancing servers who were wearing leis and their sunniest smiles. We immediately found a table and actually shared it with my cousin-in-law, Rikx Knows Best, who was with her little punk, Nini.

I kept coming back to Johnny Rockets (JR) because of their big serving. A lot of people who have previously dined at JR had complained at how costly each meal is. Well, honestly, it is. But if you will think of it: you'd get what you paid for. It's yum, it's filling and it's actually good for two servings (if you are not that of a big eater). I am a big eater but I didn't get to finish my Original Hamburger so I just took it home along with my Halo-halo Summer Shake. I didn't get to taste the other variants, Guyabano and Hawaiian Breeze, so I might order some soon with the GCs they gave us as part of our loot.

The blogger kids were treated with their own loot, too. My preschool popstar actually made lambing to one of the JR staff to give her a pink balloon. Such a diva. Haha! Eto pa ha, I think she's the only kid who didn't enjoy watching the dancing servers. I assume it must be the music. Johnny Rockets' usual music is 50s jukebox-inspired so my very modern kid was not so digging it. But she loved her pink balloon!

MBP was also introduced to the Rocketeers Summer Camp for kids ages 6-12 years old. It is kiddie crew-ing with a twist, of course. Campers are taught to dance like how the dancing servers do it. There are still four batches for this month so if you are interested to enroll your child, you may inquire at any Johnny Rockets branch near you:
