Frugal Shopping at Robinson's Metro East

When I decided to become a stay-at-home mom two years ago, I also accepted the fact that shopping will be inevitably elusive. That's fine with me; after all, I'm not that of a bag-dress-shoes woman. Believe it or not, I'd rather spend money on food and books and travel. However, my chromosomes are kinda kicking me inside and are actually telling me that my clothes are worth a throwback post already. LOL. I will soon do myself a favor and have a wardrobe makeover but for now, I have a kikay preschooler to mind.

So last week, I did a little shopping for my daughter. Since they only wear uniforms on Mondays and Thursdays; they, of course, need casual comfy clothes on the days not mentioned. She has a lot, more than what I have, as a matter of fact. But I don't want her to wear her nicest dresses for her usual preschool activities. She also has dark marks due to severely scratched mosquito bites so no shorts, skirts or dresses yet. Boo. :(

With that said, she needs pants and leggings and shirts. Oh, we bought that polka rain boots above for Php195 only! We couldn't just let it go. It was the last pair for her size! Anyway, I also promised I'd buy her a pink sparkly headband after having her hair cut but we didn't see one so she chose the next best thing: over the top design in all colors! We were about to pay for what we've shopped when I saw the Citronella Patches from Cycles Sensitive at the cashier's counter. Mosquitoes are everywhere now that's it's rainy season (there's a tribe here at home huhuhu) and if I can super arm her with all possible mosquito-fighting warriors, I will. Here are some stuff I got for my babe ―

Belt: Php 139.75; Leggings: Php 249.75; Jeans: Php 412.21, originally Php 549.75
Orange tee: Php 199.75 ; Blue tee: Php 119.25; Gray tee: Php 179.75; White shirt: Php 249.75
PinkBox hairband: Php 129.75
Php 124.00 for 12 patches
I allotted Php 2,000 (yes!) for all these and was super glad I got some change pa! I like that the tees' cloth is soft and airy. Cute pa the prints noh? I'm relieved that I didn't need to spend that much to dress up my little girl comfortably and, take note, in the style she loves. My shopping experience at Robinson's Metro East was truly something that a frugal mom like me must be proud of! ♥

What do you think of my finds?

P.S.
Big sale's up to June 30th.
