Sunday at the Rumble Yard in Trinoma

I scheduled our past Sunday for the second leg of Rumble Yard: The First Action-Inspired Kids Event hosted by DC Shoes and Res|Toe|Run held in Trinoma. I tagged along Lollies and Lipsticks and her son Elijah with us. While at the car, on the way to the venue, we briefed the kids that we will play there and would have fun. While we were doing that, I was secretly praying no one will go hulk (the worst would be me).

When we arrived at the activity center, which was at the ground level, We were welcomed with a crowd. It was not as calm as what Kim posted here when they attended its first leg held in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Since I was invited as a "media" person, I didn't fall in line to register. The line, by the way resembled that of the MRT's! It's a good sign for the brands since people looked like they are interested to participate in the activities. Vianca, DC Shoes' brand owner, readily gave us the loot that others would have to worked hard for. Each kid had been given a passport that they have to have a complete set of stamps. Meaning, they should have visited and participated in all the existing booths.

My daughter, who is a fan of action-inspired activities, was game to participate. However, since there were too many people and the space was not big enough to hold such, she was overly stimulated and got a little cranky. I, too, got a little pissed when we have to wait for almost 20 minutes so she can try on the Bump and Jump inflatable play area for like 3 minutes. My mommy heart broke for my active girl. So I just did a little pambobola that we'll join in the games so she can win some prizes.

Whew, the moms (and their kids) were super competitive! Haha! Yup, we didn't get to take home anything aside from our initial loot. Good thing she got a cute and tasty DC shoes cupcake that she devoured while watching others play. Thank you, DC Shoes and Res|Toe|Run for inviting us! I hope you'd have more events like this in the future. You just need a bigger venue though. Kudos to the team! ♡
