I'm gonna blog my best this year!

I told myself I'd be ready for whatever challenges this year might bring but since I'm God's fave chick, He surprised me with good things instead. Faith is my word for 2014. So far, in truth, I haven't lost faith ― in my Master and Personal Saviour, in my husband, in my daughter, in my friends and in my readers. But I almost lost faith in myself a few days after I declared my word. I was thinking of going back to work [out of home] so I could feel "that fulfillment" of spending my hard-earned money, "that honor" when a stranger or a relative asks me what I do every day and "that appreciation" I get for a job well done. Really, a SAHM's life has its complexities. It comes with dedication... and boredom... and worthlessness... and sadness... Oh wait, I'm blogging! It's not that boring. I am worthy to you, who reads me every time I post something here. Sadness is a choice made by unhappy people, I am deciding to be happy because I have no reason to be sad. And perhaps, that's why God gifted me with something blissful. I shall tell you about it, soon. Ooh, I can't wait.

Anyway, speaking of blissful, it was in an opportune timing that Make it Blissful foundress, Martine, was about to conduct her Blog Your Best Year's 3rd leg when I felt that internal drama. It was held in La Creperié Boheme in New Manila on February 1st. We were taught and touched to commit to blogging and to really stick to our brand. It was a hardcore creative blogging workshop, I must say. As in, my brain was like processing everything .01 gigabyte per hour. Haha! So I used my heart to embrace what M told us. Slowly but surely, I knew what I really wanted for this blog.

Bebengisms will be a friend to you and me. A real friend, that is. She doesn't kiss ass; no, she won't say you're always fab when you are really not. She would tell you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. In this case, what you need to read ― about me, my faith, motherhood, a little about marriage, anything you'd like me to write about (email me!). She can make you laugh 'till your sides ache because she can. Or when a problem is better to be laughed at than to be solved. Hehe. She will share the juiciest stories about her love life in her aim to inspire, hoping you won't roll your eyes on her. But if you'd still do, she wants to let you know that she actually won't care. She can be a bit crass, frank or opinionated but it's all because of her strong passion to whatever she believes in. I suppose, you somehow believe in her beliefs, too. You read her! And to me, she will remain the ally that she has been since 2012. We've been through ups and downs, high and low stats, praises and trolls and a shower of giveaways (woot) ― so I guess this year, we will gallop faithfully in the race of blogging blissfully. ♡
