Wanted: Furniture and Appliances

I now have guests here in the house. Remember my fellow army wife kumare that I featured here and here? Her, baby Y and kumpare are now blissfully sleeping inside our room. Yup, LB and I are co-sleeping with them. As much as I want to give them privacy and VIP treatment, we only have one mattress (no bed frame!) and one electric fan. I know it sounded kawawa but hey, we're bonding as a family! Haha! Well, despite the love-hate relationship of my 4-year-old jealousy-stricken preschooler and kumare's 15-month-old innocent toddler, you can never question the friendship.

So after dinner, since kumpare was really sleepy and tired from the long travel, he was sitting in our plastic chair, trying to relax when... BAM! He fell off as one of its feet broke.  Now I realized that we really have lots of things to buy for the house (note that these are not just luho, we really need them to make this home a "normal" place to live in):
Source
BEDFRAME - If it comes with a matress, then this Uratex foam that we're currently using will be designated for the little lady's pink headquarters. This is in the first of my list because all the dreams, hopes and prayers happen here. It should be very special.

DINING TABLE - What we're currently using is a round glass table that isn't sturdy enough anymore that makes anyone eating on it uncomfortable.

SOFA SET - We have a long brown couch. It's good enough but it doesn't have a backseat so movie and TV-watching make our bodies tired. The sofa in the photo is love. Even the colors of the pillows match the color palette of the house. Exactly what I'm looking for. :)

ELECTRIC FAN/S - We may want to have an airconditioner for our room especially during summer, but like what I said, not luho; just to make our humble abode normal. But of course, we'd love to have. Maybe it's what baby #2 wants. ;) That pink desk fan is worth Php 919; great for LB's room.

REFRIGERATOR - We have one functioning here at home, pre-owned by my sister, N. The door's got a problem, so I really feel we need to buy a new one. After all, it might consume more energy if it has a problem. Right?
Source
WASHING MACHINE - What can I say about the one I'm using? No bad words. Baka magtampo, wala na akong magamit. Hehe. It's just that, it went through a lot --- it experienced Ondoy. No need to say more. This one is a blessing for all modern SAHMs like me. Rhambo, if you're reading this, this is as good as a jewelry. Really.

BOOK SHELVES - My books are confined in the extra built-in cabinet in LB's room. I want them to get fresh air. I will ask Rhambo to hire a carpenter to do this. I'll have it painted in dark brown to make it look like wood then voila, this and the sofa are perfect for each other. It's love at first sight. ♥

CHINA CABINET - No, we don't have lots of chinaware. Just for Rhambo's growing collection of whisky and brandy. And yeah, to make me inspired to buy pretty plates. I'm not into designer plates, I just buy the classic ones. I want to highlight the food instead. But the husband requested for a black plate 4 years ago so I bought four of it from Luminarc. It's so classy, I kept it in the kitchen shelf. Heehee. Save it for some home-date with the one who asked for it. The cabinet shown above will go pretty well with the dining table I chose.

I'm sure the poop master will agree. You know who he is? ;)

I want to buy an oven because I want to learn how to bake cookies and cupcakes. I would love to have a vacuum cleaner for all the hair that falls (darn!). It's really nice to have that bonggang modern mop I saw in the supermarket, it'll make my job easier for sure. And curtains, carpet, foot rugs, bathroom mats, pots, pans, photo frames, wall clock (yes, we still do not have until now), pillows, etc. I'm excited to make this house worthy for the people who live here, even if I'm not Martha Stewart. :)
