Lysol To Go: Perfect for Moms on the Go!

Long before motherhood happened to me, I have already been used to packing a lot of things whenever I leave the house. I don't want the feeling of needing something and not having it on my bag. Like what I said in this post, my husband thought I was insinuating to run away with him when I packed a week's worth bag for our 3-day trip to Baguio, haha! It was crazy, I know, but I'm glad I didn't end up buying clothes or anything that I forgot to bring.

And now that I'm now a mom to an amazing girly girl with an energy of four rowdy boys, I can't always bring a big bag of my regular everything because #backache. In almost 7 years of learning the ropes of child-rearing, I have realized that I only need to make my little miss healthy and happy. Everything else will surely follow.

It's easy to make my girl happy — keep her well-fed, well-rested and entertained. To keep her healthy — I feed her balanced meals, I let her play for real and I make sure she's clean. When she had skin infection and tummy ache, both were caused by germs and bacteria. These two are number one enemies of moms, of anyone, as a matter of fact. So from then on, I never leave the house without alcohol or hand sanitizer on my bag, and wet wipes, too! It's as important as water. My husband had the same tummy ache so he knows that it will keep on coming back once bad stuff got into our baby girl's tiny tummy.

So when Lysol, my family's trusted brand in cleaning and disinfecting the air we breathe at home (or in my husband's quarters at the camp), invited this blog for an afternoon with fellow #LysolMoms, I was excited to go!

The Lysol team spoiled us with yummy drinks and snacks at Farmacy before they "momnapped" us via the The Black Fleet. While on board, Erika, our travel attendant for the day, asked us questions on what we never leave home without. I said, common sense, I never leave without it, hihi. Of course, I was just kidding. Then she asked us what we always bring when we travel. I said, camera, to store (and share on my social media, haha) the memories. Then Lysol's Brand Manager, Michelle Peralta introduce to us, Cheska Garcia-Kramer's tiny secret, the newest baby of Lysol Philippines — Lysol To Go!

It's so small it can fit a purse.

I can use it everywhere discreetly. I can use it on cabs with old stinky car seats, one of my pet peeves by the way. I can spray it on comfort room cubicles in gas stations when we stop over during a long drive to my soldier husband's camp. I can also teach my daughter to use it on her chair in school, especially when it's colds and cough season. See, because of its cute size, the possibilities are endless. It can fit my sling bag where I put my phone, keys, wipes and money. Michelle said they tried it in their office and that each 28-gram can deliver 60 sprays, with 3 seconds each spray.

After going around BGC and feasting on snacks that were all over the bus, they brought us to 2nd's to eat again! And to surprise us with a bouquet of flowers! Yay, I miss receiving flowers from my husband so to get one unexpectedly was really special. We had Bacon Chicharon, Chicken Adobo Croquettes and Mini Buffalo Chicken Pops for starters. Then I had Three Little Pigs Kawali and Lychee Shake.

While we were waiting for dessert, which was Frozen Hazelnut Cheesecake, I opened the giveaway bag with our Lysol To Go sample. I realized that I should get one for my girl that she can always bring with her to school. As a mom, it's a must that I teach her to make cleanliness a habit. Like what that cliche line always say, "cleanliness is next to godliness". Lysol To Go will be available in leading supermarkets and grocery stores nationwide starting this month for Php150. It's available in Crisp Linen scent only.

  1. Lysol To Go has cute packaging and you can really bring it anywhere. In our case, we always bring hand sanitizer or alcohol wherever we go.

  4. You know, I'm not really a fan of wipes, because I often learn from the packaging that they don't really sanitise. I do not like that my hands "feel clean" but they aren't really clean. But these Lysol wipes might change my mind. :)

  5. I need this! Especially since my son likes holding everything (literally) he sees and it doesn't bother him if its dirty or not.

I'll be including this in my shopping list from now on.

  6. This is a good option, because the original Lysol is definitely bulky and should stay at home. hehe. I'm glad Lysol came up with Lysol To Go.
