Yes, he did... with a song number minus all the "hataw na" moves and beats! It was a simple in-flight feel-good entertainment for our kababayans from Los Angeles who were coming home to Manila. Gary rarely performs without a dazzling set, a high-powered band, and energetic dancers to support him. But on Wednesday night, the Philippines’ total performer jolted passengers aboard Philippine Airlines by performing his first ever in-flight mini-concert dedicated to the real stars of the show: the balikbayans.
Gary Valenciano created a stir when he hopped on the plane’s public address system about a few minutes into the flight and performed TFC’s 20th anniversary anthem to the unsuspecting crowd’s delight. His impromptu performance which took place in the aisles of the plane was caught on camera by a throng of surprised spectators. His live performance received a round of applause from the crowd.
