New Partnership for Puregold and Globe GCash

I am not sure with the city that you live in, but I think we have six (6) Puregold branches here in Marikina. As in, there's the regular version, a Jr., and an Extra. So yes, Puregold is everywhere! It is famous. Speaking of fame, one of the biggest telecommunication networks in the country has partnered with Puregold to give its shoppers a better shopping experience. We may have something to say about Globe's intermittent signal from time to time but there's no doubt that we can't just let go of them. I, personally, am a Globe subscriber. This very blog depends on their data service. So when I was invited by these two big brands for a press launch days ago, I happily attended the event with my mini-me.

The press launch held at Puregold QI Central in Araneta Avenue in Quezon City was hosted by the witty comedienne Giselle Sanchez. She said that the partnership between Globe and Puregold began in 2010 when the Aling Puring Super Suki SIM card was launched. It is a special multi-function SIM card exclusively for Puregold's Aling Puring members which allow them to receive text blast announcements, promos, reminders at discounted call and text rates.

And now, with the new partnership, all GCash subscribers and Puregold’s Tindahan ni Aling Puring members composed of sari-sari store owners, carinderia operators, food resellers, and bulk buyers can avail of any GCash service at any Puregold outlet. These GCash services include Cash-in/Cash-out, Domestic Remittance (Send and Receive Money), International Remittance, Bills Payment, and POS Payment. Please watch the following videos for further understanding ―

INTERNATIONAL REMITTANCE

Isn't' it amazing? You don't need to fall long lines in payment centers to settle your bills. Running errands are much shorter with what: Grocery-shopping + paying for the utility bills! As what GXI (Globe) President Paolo Eugenio Baltao shared, “We are happy to forge a stronger partnership with Puregold, one of the largest supermarket chains in the country, with the availability of GCash across all their branches. With GCash, customers will have the speed, convenience, and safety when it comes to money transfer services. The one-stop mobile money service is now available in a one-stop shopping venue."

The "formal" part of the event ended with photo ops and then Giselle happily announced that all those who attended the event will be given the chance to shop in Puregold for FREE! You can read my sweaty and panting experience here. Like I said in the post, it was really, really fun! Thank you, Puregold and Globe, for inviting my blog.

  1. Hello Denise! Noticed that you have a pen from Xpress Money. What is Xpress Money? Is it part of the launch?

    1. I think it's the wire money transfer service that Globe uses for their GCash transactions.
