Winner Wednesday

I wanted to add 'warrior' to the title so it'd be Winner and Warrior Wednesday but I felt like the word was not really given justice based on this story. Read ---

The 'kala mo ha' may sound as if it came from a Dolphy-Panchito (sumalangit nawa) movie but when I got home, I bawled like a bullied gradeschooler. Heavy drama mode: ON. As in crayola galore, yung 64 pieces. I called my husband to find comfort through his voice but there was no answer, for sure jumejebs yun; hence posting it on Facebook, primarily to vent out. But come to think of it, it served as a warning to my Facebook friends who might walk on the same streets. Hay. Good thing I was not harmed and my purse is still here sitting pretty beside my notepad. Thank You, Lord for the wisdom and strength! You.are.the.best. Actually, before it happened, this is what made me busy-happy after lunch.

LB's school had a simple Buwan ng Wika celebration today. They were asked to wear traditional Filipino costumes and bring some Pinoy food for their potluck. Like what I said on my FB status on the photo above, I bought 30 pieces of Goldilocks pulburon/polvoron/pulburichinie/pulburuchiniediazngfabatforty. This little arte girl's OOTD is courtesy of my Singapore-based best girl, S, who went to Bali, Indonesia last year. Yup, this is an Indonesian costume. Ergo, it passes as a Muslim costume 'di ba? It looked different that, guess what, she won! Boom.

Super tawang-tawa kami ni Rhambo when I told him about it. Namumukod-tangi. Nakakataba ng puso. Kasi kung tutuusin, I was not prepared. The shoes she wore today was from the peacock costume she wore during their Moving-Up performance last March. The costume was eating dust behind her cabinet and I only washed it last night. I tied her hair in a bun and used one of my bead-y necklaces to finish her whole look. Wagi naman ang bagets kaya bawing-bawi na yung pagshake body body dancer ko sa purse-snatching incident. Wait, there's more! These arrived.

I love King Sue Ham already ha. I didn't know it's going to be this many. Follow them on Instagram pala: @kingsueham. They also sent the products for the birthday giveaway so mapapalaban ang prijider ko sa palamigan. Hehe. Eto pa, two online mompreneurs also messaged me on my fan page that they are willing to sponsor items from their stores for the giveaway next month. Bonggelz to the highest levelzzzz ang #BebengismsBirthdayCyberParty. Yiz, that's going to be the hashtag. Haba noh? Haaay, kahit nastresska garcia-kramer ako sa manong motorsiklo na yun kanina, God made sure this day won't end in a sad note. Double, triple winner kaya ako today. Osha mutherbelles, sumuko na daw ang hitad (aka Janet Napoles), next time ulit ang chika. I'll be preparing for tomorrow's drama scenes from the pork-lovers eh. Kanya-kanyang emote yan for sure. If you're not the type who comments on blogs, you can reply on my FB statuses. I update there more often! To motherhood and beyond. *cyberbesobeso* ♥

  4. Oh my! I was a victim of ipit gang (Is that what you call 'em?) some years back. And I can still remember how fearless I was when I undoubtedly pointed my finger to the guy who took my phone and loudly cried: "Ang kapal ng mukha mo! Kinuha mo cellphone ko!". But nobody dared to help me.

Thank God nothing bad happened to you Queen B!

  8. Hi Denise! I've been reading your blog for quite some time. Yun lang, tamad ako mag-comment. Hihihi When I saw "NGI" and ATM Panciteria from your previous post, natuwa ako. I also live kasi in Marikina. Actually malapit lang din ako sa NGI. Saka pala yung classic Marikina pavements, naconfirm ko na you are a fellow Marikena :)

Glad to know that you are safe. If I were in your shoes, iiyak din ako after my shock and nervousness will subside. Pero mas matapang ka pa din, lalo na when you mentioned "kala mo ha." Palaban lang ang peg :)

Advance happy birthday and have a great week ahead!
