Review: Dishwashing Liquid by Droplets of Nature

If there's one thing I least like with all the domestic motherly brouhahas, that is dishwashing. I remember a time when my younger brother & I fought over dirty dishes. You can make me do the laundry (which I love), cook for a feast or clean the house while a toddler is playing, but it would take time to prod me to wash dirty dishes. I abhor the long time to stand while washing, so when I was a maarte kolehiyala (but a state U student naman), I got a chair & sat while doing it. Whenever Rhambo was home & we don't have a helper, he's the sink-in-charge. I know it's weird that I love doing the laundry but I despise being in the sink with a basin full of greasy plates & forks; but that's me. However, when I don't have Rhambo or a helper around, I have no excuse not to do it.

What I hate most about it, is after using all your strength to wash away the grease of the ulam in your baunan, it still smells like adobo. You get that? So I sometimes resort to using a detergent bar. 'Cause it's more effective than those unbranded less expensive dishwashing liquid products in the market, those that claimed it's concentrated but you would actually have to use a lot of it to make you satisfied. Even that famous dishwashing liquid has already somehow lessened its efficacy.

Good thing I have discovered Droplets of Nature, as I have mentioned in my previous post. They also manufacture & produce concentrated dishwahing liquid in two sizes --- 500 ml & 1 liter. These are what you need to know about their ECO-FRIENDLY DISHWASHING LIQUID:

  • It is made from potato/corn-based surfactants. Its surfactant is listed as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the US Food & Drugs Administration (US FDA). It is loaded with essential oils.
  • It has also “kitchenware conditioner” that takes care of your expensive plates and wares and tools. If you will notice, even those kitchen tools that are declared stainless still develop stains/rust over time. It is because of the harsh chemicals inside an ordinary dishwashing liquid. With Droplets of Nature Dishwashing Liquid, your expensive kitchenware will last longer.
  • You will also notice that your plates dry up easily and have shining effect when you use it.
  • It is very economical! You will feel that our dishwashing liquid is heavily concentrated (this is part of our promise to our clients to provide eco-friendly products that have value for one’s money- it is 3 to 5x concentrated than your ordinary dishwashing liquid).

It's actually a bit costly than those you can buy in the local supermarket, but since it's REALLY concentrated (like what Ate Maritess said, mabula talaga siya), you only need to use a squirt or two on your sponge for a batch of dirty dishes; hence, its claim to "value for your money". Because it really is! I used it once & didn't make a big fuss about being the sink-in-charge since Droplets of Nature's dishwashing liquid comes in an atomizer bottle. Plus, since it has peppermint & cinnamon essential oils, it really has a nice scent; not lemon-like that when left on your plate & you smelled it, it makes you think of car freshener.

My dream pink kitchen. It's attainable, clean & practical. But I would love to add more shelves.
My husband & I mutually decided that it's time to leave their parental house and that we should create our own kingdom, even if it's only a leased apartment. So I will be bringing with me Droplets of Nature dishwashing liquid to be a mainstay character of my OWN kitchen. I can't wait to share with you how I will have a pseudo-cooking show, because I will soon be the sole queen of the house. Wish me luck on my house-hunting. :)
